Frensham Fisheries is one of the most beautiful fly fishing locations in the south of England. You may have seen it featured in recent television programmes and feature articles in Trout Fisherman magazine. Hidden in a sheltered secluded wooded valley on the Surrey Hampshire boarders the fishery offers the ultimate escape from busy urban life. It is considered to be one of the top still water fishing locations in the south and we are privileged to be able to bring our clients to this water.

Richard the owner and his wife Jill have a passion for their fishery and have developed a still water fishery unrivalled in my extensive experience. Just an opportunity to fish one of Richards several lakes and observe the wild life and take in the scenery is a rest cure in itself with the added bonus of a chance to catch one of Richard's big hard fighting rainbow or natural brown trout. There is one big rainbow that I have been after for several seasons now. He goes by the name of “Big Gordy” and has become a legend amongst the regulars.

Richard and I insist that all the fish are treated with great respect at all times. The fishery allows catch and release as well as an opportunity to keep a fish or two for the table if that is your choice. You will receive instruction on how to return fish safely and unharmed to the water or if you prefer how to humanely despatch the fish you wish to keep. Once you have tasted fresh trout, supermarket farmed fish will never taste the same. So keep some space in the freezer.
