Situated in stunning countryside of Special Scientific Interest. The area is rich in wildlife and fauna.

The fishery was created in 1982 with a 5 acre lake set in beautiful woodland and fed by a quarter of a million gallons of natural spring water per day. The lake is abundant in aquatic life with the fish feeding naturally on the abundant hatches of sedges, hawthorns, damsels and mayfly plus many other species of fly and crustacea.

This fishery offers superlative fishing for the fisherman wishing to fish the more traditional methods. The platforms are carefully positioned so most of the water can be covered whilst allowing plenty of room for all to enjoy their fishing in pleasant uncrowned and peaceful surroundings. Described by “Fly Fisher” Magazine “one of Wales’- if not the UK’s – very best clear water fisheries” The clear waters offer great sport to the dry fly and small nymph fisherman

The waters hold good size Rainbow, Blue and in season Brown Trout (many in double figures). A large number of the fish stocked are reared at the fishery and are superbly conditioned fighters just waiting for some one to catch.

The Fishery also offers accommodation in warm and inviting Log Cabins and Cerrig Cottage a beautifully converted 18th century stone barn. The accommodations are available for holidays, weekend or midweek breaks. In addition they have a Caravan Club location site for touring caravans.
